Waterfront Esplanade
The esplanade is a serene pedestrian paradise in the midst of the bustling city. The boardwalk runs alongside the Hudson River and stretches the entire length of Battery Park. With views of the Hudson River, New York Harbor, the Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island the esplanade covers an ideal route for walking, jogging, rollerblading, or biking. Volley ball courts along the waterfront are open to the public throughout the summer months and the entire route is lined with beautifully landscaped gardens and public art installations.
