WTC Oculus

The newly opened shopping mall in downtown Manhattan, known as the Oculus, is both an iconic architectural masterpiece of architect Santiago Calatrava and key transportation hub for the neighborhood. Shopping mall expert and developer, Westfield, inaugurated the stunning 350,000 square-foot marble space in August 2016 and has made it into a premier shopping destination in Manhattan.

Location

Located less than a 10-minute walk away from Gateway, the transportation hub provides direct access to Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) commuter trains to New Jersey and 11 New York City subway lines. The convenient location and well-connected transportation system allows Gateway residents to access any part of the city within a few minutes.

Retail Stores

Westfield World Trade Center mall features more than 100 stores and combines high-end boutiques, international retailers, and specialty stores, all under one roof. Retailers include, Stuart Weitzman, Hugo Boss, John Varvatos, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Lacoste, Cos, & Other Stores, Forever21, Reiss, Apple, and many more.

Dining

Dining and delicatessen options at the Oculus are endless. The popular specialty store and Italian restaurant Eataly, with a flagship location in the Flatiron District, expanded in New York and opened a second location in the Oculus. Other dining options include, Breads Bakery and Epicerie Bouloud, two of the best bakeries in New York, the East Coast favorite Shake Shack, Wasabi Sushi & Bento, and more. Popular coffee shops include Joe & the Juice, Joe Coffee, Ivring Farm Coffee Roasters, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and Pret A Manger.

Having the Oculus as a close neighbor to Gateway, enables residents to have one of the most convenient transportation hubs adjacent to home, in addition to access to a selection of fantastic retail and dining options, just a few steps away from home.
