Get Out On The Water!

As the weather gets warmer, the Hudson River suddenly becomes much more active, with boats of all sizes passing by. Don't have a slip outside of Brookfield Place? No worreis! There are ample opportunities to get out on the water with all kinds of boat tours and activities on the waterfront. We'll go through a few options you can book and enjoy today, as well as some budget-friendly ideas for the weekends ahead.

 

Gypsy Jazz Boat Tour

Enjoy some tunes as you cruise down the river, taking in the NYC skyline. Featuring Alex Simon and his trio, Gypsy Jass, is a kind of acoustic swing music that'll be sure to have you tapping your feet. The cruise is 2 hours long, $84 per person, and includes one complimentary beer, wine, or champagne from the bar!

 

The Lower Manhattan Architecture Tour

Led by members of the Amenican Institute of Architects, this boat tour will teach you everything you need to know about the most prominent buildings in the lower half of Manhattan. Guests will also hear about NYC's popular waterfront monuments, skyscrapers, and famous architects like Frank Gehry. Enjoy the tour for $48 per seat, ages 14 and up only, please. 

 

Beast Speedboat Ride

Need something that'll get your blood pumping? Look no further than the Beast Speedboat! It goes up to 45 mph with a ton of twists and turns. Perfect for families to enjoy some sunshine and incredible views. Be sure to hold onto your hat!

 

Eat Lobster on a Boat 

It's New York's only floating lobster shack! Parked at 81st Street, North River Lobster Company has departures every hour and a half, 6 days a week. Enjoy the sites and fresh air, while also enjoying a glass of rose and a lobster roll. Only $10 to get on boat per person! Check out their menu here.

 

Relax In Our Private Backyard & Pool

No need to spend money to enjoy the Hudson. Pack a picnic with your favorite foods and head to the North Lawn! The North Lawn provides a lush green area to enjoy nature and incredible architecture on the waterfront.
