Celebrate Valentine's Day 2021

Feb 9, 2021

Valentine’s Day is fast-approaching and with it comes the opportunity to spread a little more love this month! Whether celebrating Galentine’s Day, flying solo, or sharing romance with a loved one, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the holiday at home & around the city. Read ahead and let us guide you through some fantastic ways to have a Valentine’s Day filled with love in 2021!

Take in a Romantic View

Want to toast to love with incredible views? Find the perfect setting for celebrating romance at The Edge, the incredible outdoor sky deck at Hudson Yards. The one-of-a-kind glass deck is designed to create the sensation of being suspended in mid-air. Book a special champagne package to celebrate Valentine’s Day… or try your hand at snagging one of these exclusive tickets to watch a Valentine’s Day sunrise.

Catch a Show

Musical comedians Rebecca Vigil and Evan Kaufman are hosting a virtual Valentine’s show this year on Saturday, February 13th. Called “Your Love, Our Musical,” the show bases a fully improvised musical comedy around one lucky couple in the audience’s tale of love. Buy tickets, and even sign up for your chance to be the featured couple, here.

Indulge in Some Self-Care

Valentine’s Day is about love in all its forms, so what better moment than now to devote a little extra time to indulging in some special self-care. Carve out some space for dedicated “me time,” whether it’s doing a favorite face mask, drawing a bath, picking up that book there never seems to be enough time for, or ordering in a yummy meal from a local spot. Looking for a new restaurant to treat yourself to? Find some of our local favorites here.

Have a Heart Photo-Op

Head to the Time Out Market in Dumbo this year for a special photo-op with an awesome heart sculpture designed by Bednark Studio. Opportunities to pose under the heart statue are available from noon until 4pm on V-day, with prints to take home available through the Self Portrait Project. Later that evening, photos will be projected onto the Manhattan Bridge to celebrate love far and wide! The first 100 people to have their photo taken will also receive a voucher good for $14 and redeemable at several area restaurants.
