Expect workshops, panel discussions, and special performances from celebrities, activists, and politicians, all focused around this year’s theme of “Restore Our Earth.” Learn more about the day’s events, as well as how to get involved in saving our planet every day of the year, here.

Plant an Herb Garden

To get involved at home, try starting small by planting your very own herb garden. In addition to providing a sustainable way to add fresh flavor to home cooking, an herb garden also instantly offers a dash of spring greenery to any home! Don’t have much of a green thumb? Try using non-picky herbs like basil, chives, oregano, parsley, rosemary, or thyme. Get kiddos involved in planting too to teach them early about making smart choices for the environment!
