Dining For Any Palate
From casual to fine dining, Gateway has every craving covered.
Gateway is near just about any cuisine you could ever want. Between Westfield Oculus Mall and Hudson Eats at Brookfield Place, the dining options are endless. Hudson Eats, the stylish new food hall, has a wide variety of delicious restaurants to Battery Park City’s growing eatery options.
Brookfield Place is filled with some of New York’s most popular food chains as well as swanky fine dining. The food court is an extremely popular lunch spot for the surrounding finance crowd and is filled with fast-casual favorites Dig Inn, Black Seed Bagel, Dos Toros, and NumPang. More upscale restaurants include Blue Ribbon Sushi, Amada, and Parm. And Le District, which is a sprawling 25,000-square-foot market, is being called the Eataly of French food. This authentic French marketplace features a selection of savory artisanal items like meat, fish, bread, and cheese with a corresponding café that offers delicious French pastries, crepes, and waffles.
Dining and delicatessen options at the Oculus are also never-ending. The popular specialty store and Italian restaurant Eataly, with a flagship location in the Flatiron District, expanded in New York and opened a second location in the Oculus. Other dining options include Lobster Press, Breads Bakery and Epicerie Bouloud, two of the best bakeries in New York, the East Coast favorite Shake Shack, Wasabi Sushi & Bento, and more. Popular coffee shops include Starbucks, Joe Coffee, Irving Farm Coffee Roasters, Dunkin Donuts, and Pret A Manger.
Healthy living is important to our Gateway residents so we make sure there are plenty of healthy selections such as Chop’t, Pressed Juicery, Wasabi Sushi & Bento, and Joe & the Juice just around the corner.
