Sometimes one party just isn't enough! This year Gateway residents are being treated to three days worth of celebration for the spookiest time of year.
Since forecasts promised non-stop rain on Saturday, October 27th, the main event on the North Lawn was moved to Sunday, October 28th. We had the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday morning- a live Magic Show! Our magic show at The Club featured a visit from Peter Pan and Wendy, and included levitating volunteers!
Sunday was a clear and windy morning, with orange leaves and artificial spiderwebs covering the lawn and creating the perfect fall atmosphere. Residents came out in force to celebrate and decorate!
Over 200 sugar pumpkins from an upstate NY farm were given to residents for decorating with silly foam sticker-faces, or to take home and bake. We loved seeing your creativity!
Residents also had a chance to trick-or-treat, with dozens dressing up in fantastic costumes! Face painters on-site completed the look with incredible looks ranging from silly to spooky.
To round out the event, we had an eerily accurate tarot card reader, and music provided by The Executive DJ. We had an incredible time, and we hope you did too!
Everyone who hasn't had their fill of Halloween should head to The Party Room at The Club this Tuesday from 5pm - 8pm. Battery Park Pediatric Dentists is putting on an amazing party for all Gateway residents. Come by The Party Room on October 30th for cotton candy, fresh popcorn, cupcakes, prizes, and more!
